The Riber Wing!
The Riber Suite is traditionally furnished with period furniture and has hand made soft furnishings; there is an extremely comfortable memory foam pocket sprung mattress on the super- king size or twin bed/s and for added comfort, feather pillows. In cooler weather enjoy the luxury of a goose down duvet. Feather or hollow-fill pillows.
The bedroom has a well stocked refreshment tray containing assorted teas, chocolate and coffee as well as complimentary bottled water and homemade orange shortbread biscuits. In addition there is an illuminated clock radio, a flat screen television and CD and DVD player.

The room has windows to the south and west providing panoramic views of the Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park ..... and it's oh so quiet .... wonderfully spacious accommodation for a longer stay.
The fully tiled shower room has a large, walk in, shelved and seated shower cubicle with lighting, a power shower with a flexible hose and slide rail, for adjusting the shower head, plus steam and *aromatherapy facilities for those wanting to linger a little longer in the relaxing environment!
A hairdryer, bath robes, good quqlity soaps, fluffy towels and associated toiletries are readily available for guests' use.

The dressing/sitting area adjoining the bedroom is decorated with curios and memorabilia.
Our guest information pack and local magazines will keep you up to date with everything which is happening in Derbyshire, The Peak District and locally, in Matlock.
We also provide a pair of binoculas for heron spotting in the wood or one may choose to spot the Cable Cars instead!!
Relax after a day's walking in The Peak District or a visit to Chatsworth or borrow a book from the shelves.

The Rose Room
The Rose Room, standing alone at its own end of the property, is an extremely attractive, traditionally furnished, double room with a super pocket sprung mattress on a king size bed, feather pillows down duvet and hand made soft furnishings. Flat screen television, DVD and CD player, illuminated clock radio and a well stocked refreshment tray, including complimentary bottled water and homemade biscuits, are provided.
There are local magazines which will keep you up to date with current events in Derbyshire as well as our own guest information pack which includes suggested local walks and the many Matlock and Peak District attractions
Enjoy the southerly views of the garden and surrounding countryside ....... absorb the tranquillity.
The new, fully tiled luxury ensuite bath room contains both a deep bath and a large, separate power shower.
The well lit shower cubicle, shelved for convenience, contains an excellent power shower with a flexible hose and slide rail. Again, a hair dryer, bath robes, heated towel rail, good quality soaps and toiletries are readily available for guests' use.

The Peony Room
The Peony Room is an extremely attractive, double en suite room containing hand made soft furnishings.
The bed has a brand new memory foam pocket sprung mattress, down duvet and feather pillows for that extra bit of comfort. The en suite has a large fully tiled and lighted shower cubicle with a built in shelf for those toiletries that are better not swimming along the shower tray!
A hair dryer, heated towel rail, bath robes and assorted good quality toiletries are provided too. The Peony has lovely southerly views overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside.
The room contains a flat screen television, CD and DVD player, illuminated clock radio and a well stocked refreshment tray including complimentary bottled water and shortbread biscuits.
Available too are local magazines and periodicals which will keep you up to date with current events as well as our own guest information pack which includes suggested walks and many Matlock / Derbyshire / Peak District attractions.
